Saying South Bend is in Michigan is sacrilege and incredibly dumb. In other words:

My official statement on this all? No, I don’t think Notre Dame is in Michigan. Never have, never will. I read the article quickly and assumed that there was a South Bend in Michigan. Turns out, there isn’t a South Bend, Michigan. That doesn’t excuse this disgusting show of incompetence by me.

I will own this mistake and work to win back your trust.

P.s. No, I don’t think Ann Arbor is in Indiana. Trust me, I’m good at geography. I finished 2nd in my 4th-grade geography bee.
