AWESOME: UAB To Wear Children Hospital Patients Names On Jerseys This Weekend

Last week, we saw Miami (OH) transform their uniforms into a platform to raise awareness for cancer:

UAB may not be Alabama (**whispers** we were reminded of this when Alabama shut down UAB’s football program a few years ago), but a move like this is beyond awesome. Children’s Harbor is located in Birmingham, Alabama:

Children’s Harbor provides children with serious illnesses and their families a place to be themselves – to have fun and relax – while also receiving no-cost services that make life a bit easier for the whole family.
