Washington "Passes The Collar" To New Husky Mascot In Cute Ceremony

I had no idea about this but ready to announce it one of the best mascot traditions in college football. I felt a bit confused while watching. I felt bad for the Husky who is retiring:

What is left for this good boy? Death? He looks healthy! Why retire him?!

It is cute how the dogs have no idea what the fuck is going on.

Also, how about the trainer/owner/whoever, only giving Dubs one treat? That’s it? For a life served as a mascot? One treat?

Best of luck to Dub II. I’m a big fan of Huskies. Definitely in my top 3 or 5 of dogs.

A bigger fan of the “passing of the collar” than whatever the hell goes on in College Station. Reveille is fine, but the culture behind here? Weird.
