Walk The Line: Using light-enhancing technology to shine light on Stanley Cup winner
Sorry, I’m still shook over the inexcusable reaction of those heathens at The Toronto Tavern. Just no place for that.
But for tonight, you want winners. And while I think the Bruins ultimately hoist the Cup, I don’t really see the value in that bet. They are -170 on the ML and the Blues have proven they can win in Boston. So I’m staying away from a ML pick. Instead, I see opportunity on the total. These are still two of the best defensive teams in the NHL, and NHL refs are known to swallow their whistles in this spot.
In the last 30 years, NHL Playoff Games 1-6 feature an average of 15.6 combined penalty minutes per game. In Game 7, though, that average drops to 8.5 combined penalty minutes. I think tonight will be physical and low-scoring, so Under 5.5 is the pick.
Other picks from Walk The Line tonight:
Astros ML (-140) over Brewers
Phillies ML (-125) over D’Backs
Minnesota Lynx – 3.5 over New York Liberty
