College football is here, and so is Barstool's new CFB podcast

We’ve arrived.

College football season is officially back on Saturday, although it’s just a one-game tease before all hell breaks loose on Aug. 31.

With CFB returning, Barstool is jumping back in the college football podcast game. On Thursday, we launch Unnecessary Roughness, a podcast with me and Kayce Smith that focuses solely on America’s greatest sport. The first episode drops Thursday morning, and we’ll have episodes each Monday and Thursday for the entirety of the season.

A little about me. I’ve been a college football guy my entire life. I grew up 15 minutes from an SEC campus, and four hours from the nearest NFL team. So college football has always been my thing, and always will be. I love all sports, but I’m pretty sure college football is the only one that’s ever made me cry.

On the show, Kayce and I will be joined by Jack Mac and we’ll have periodic appearances from a number of Barstool personalities, including my gambling segment at the end of each Thursday show with Marty Mush.
