Gas Money Bob's Week 14 Bears Preview

The 2019 Chicago Bears are officially a playoff team. Congrats to Ryan Pace, Matt Nagy and the entire organization.

The Bears are looking to go 1-0 for the 3rd consecutive week. I mapped out what it will take a couple of weeks ago and we’re still looking good.

Week 12 vs Giants W ✔

Week 13 @Lions W ✔

Playoffs Round 1 vs Cowboys W

Playoffs Round 2 @Packers easy W

Playoffs Round 3 vs Chiefs W

Playoffs Round 4 @Vikings easy W

The Seahawks did us a huge favor last week by beating the Vikings and basically eliminating them. Now we just need the Rams to lose a couple of games (they still play Seattle, Dallas, San Fran and AZ) which should happen based on their schedule.

So now we control our own destiny and our destiny is the Super Bowl. I know I am not the only one in Chicago that has that gut feeling about this team. Win tonight and Akiem Hicks comes back next week and there is no stopping us. Let’s go!

Let’s not forget that Mitch Trubisky is starting to show flashes of greatness and the confidence that a #2 overall QB should have. Mitch sliced and diced the Lions vaunted defense last week and you can just see that a superstar is about to arrive.

The results of a QB coming into his own is the birth of some new stars in the NFL. Anthony Miller is finally making a big impact this season and recently added TE Jesper Horsted looks like he could be the diamond in the rough we’ve been waiting for. It’s time for the Bears O to take it to another level.

Bear Weather Report:

43 (feels like 38) Degrees

Precipitation 5%

Humidity 69%

Wind SSW 9 mph

No rain, no snow, no problem. The temperature alone should be enough to shut down the very soft Dak Prescott. Zeke is familiar with these weather conditions but Roquan will be all over him. Cooper will be on Fuller Island all night and guess what Randall Cobb? Chris Conte in not on the Bears anymore so good luck.

You Bet Your Ass:

Bears +3.5

Over/Under 43.5

I hope Nagy is telling the players that they are 3.5 point underdogs at home in a playoff game. If that doesn’t motivate you what will? Since the Bears are winning this one outright take the Bears money line +145 and the under and owe your bookie less than usual next Tuesday.

Game Prediction:

I really think Nagy will have the team ready to lay the boom tonight. Home game, National TV, season on the line. Let’s fucking go!

Bears 22

Cowboys 17

Coming Up Next Week: We continue on to the 2nd round of the playoffs with a trip up to the armpit of America, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Bear Down!
