I Guarantee The Redskins Will Not Be The Worst Team In The NFL Next Year
That's right, a Hard G Guarantee. I absolutely, 100% guarantee that the Redskins will not finish last in the NFL next season. Books currently list the Redskins with the worst Super Bow odds at +15000 and the best odds to get the number 1 overall pick at +700, both of which are bullllllshitttttttt.
To put it frankly, the Skins weren't the worst team in the league *this year*, and only got better...much, much better. For starters, there won't be a carousel of quarterbacks, just a very improved Dwayne Haskins. And on the defensive side Jack Del Rio takes over and will be a huge upgrade over the worst d-coordinator in the league, Greg Manusky. He's adding Chase Young to a defense that will have one of the best lines in the league, and that will be subtracting Josh Norman, a huge win.
We already learned that the Redskins rookie class was rated the #1 most productive draft class of 2019. Now they get to play under new head coach Ron Rivera, whose worst year in Carolina was 6-10.
So that's why I guarantee it. Maybe next year isn't the Skins year, but it's certainly not not the Skins year either. I think it will be a fine season. Haskins will improve, the defense will be much better, Chase Young will be in DC, Montez Sweat won't be lined up at safety for no reason, McLaurin, Sims, Harmon, and Quinn should all be improved at WR, maybe we'll even bring in a TE, and so on and so forth with the upgrades.
If the Skins do finish last in the league next year I'll eat this blog. That is my second Hard G Guarantee.
