The Late Pick Four at Oaklawn Is Juicy Today

Today is a big day of racing at Oaklawn Park down in Hot Springs, Arkansas. There's stakes races all over the place and they're loaded with quality horses. That means we have a shot to maybe make some money today. The ticket I'm looking most at is the Late Pick Four. It has the combination of affordability, a short race and some deeper races with live longshots. I think this is a decent ticket with a chance to cash for a nice profit. Here's what I've got:

BlackJack's Oaklawn Late Pick Four:

Race Nine: This race comes down to two horses for me, Improbable and Tom's d' Etat. I'm going to use them both, but I wouldn't blame you for singling Tom's d'Etat over Improbable.

Race Ten: A deeper race for sure, my favorite here is the (10) Dean Martini trained by Brad Cox, who is rapidly making a case for the best trainer in America. I still think you need coverage so, I'm also using the (1), (7), (9) and (12).

Race Eleven: This race could be interesting to bet because I think the Baffert entry, Thousand Words, will get a ton of play on the tote. I am going to use Thousand Words, but he's not my top choice. That selection belongs to (8) Taishan, who could be a nice value. In total I'm using (1), (4), (8) and (12).

Race Twelve: This is another interesting race, and I think my top choice is (5) Popular Kid. It's a close call over the (6) Exulting though. I'm also using the (2) as a live long shot to close this thing out with Calvin Borel on board.
