A Couple of First Five Inning Plays and the Late Pick Four at Saratoga
Yesterday we split our two plays and unfortunately had to deal with inclement weather in Texas for our Pick Four. Today, however, we have one of our best bets in all of baseball. That is the first five inning under with Jacob deGrom on the mound. Not just that, but today we have a total set at 4.5! We pounce on that without a second thought. I've got two first five plays I'm on today, plus the late Pick Four at Saratoga. Let's hit it.
Arizona Diamondbacks at Texas Rangers (-116, O/U 8)
We've got MadBum making his second start for the D-Backs, against a Rangers team that has trouble hitting lefties. I'm not sure how the bullpen will hold up, so I'm going to make this a first five play and hope the D-Backs can get to Lance Lynn a little bit in the early innings.
THE PICK: Arizona 1st 5 ML (-102)
Boston Red Sox at New York Mets (-200, O/U 7.5)
Obviously the Mets are heavy favorites here with deGrom on the mound, but there's no way you can lay -200. Also I don't trust this Mets bullpen at all (Just ask Frank the Tank), hence I will play my ol' reliable first five innings under with deGrom starting since the Mets hate giving this guy any run support. Plus today we get the benefit of the series shifting to Citi Field as opposed to Fenway. Let's do it.
THE PICK: 1st 5 Innings Under 4.5 (-143)
Saratoga Late Pick Four:
