BlackJack's Best Bets of the Day
Don't look now, but we're doing pretty well of late. After a 2-0 day Tuesday, yesterday we followed that up with 3-1, including two plus money winners. Some would sit and rest on those wins at this point, but not us. No. We must continue to win. We must continue to put in the work to find those wins. And that's exactly what I've done today. I've got two hockey plays that I like quite a bit and I'm going to give out some best bets on the track today since I don't love a larger sequence. Let's hit it.
Chicago Blackhawks vs. Vegas Golden Knights (-210, O/U 6)
Game One gave a good indication of how this series should go, with the exception of Robin Lehner's skate issues. Vegas is the more dominant team offensively, defensively and they are better in net with their current duo of Lehner and Marc-Andre Fleury. Chicago is a top heavy team that is also considerably older than Vegas. I think this series could get ugly quick.
THE PICK: Vegas in regulation (-135)
Calgary Flames (-112, O/U 5.5) vs. Dallas Stars
If we're being honest here, Dallas played like complete garbage in Game One of this series. They were lucky to only lose 3-2. They were all out of sorts and Calgary took advantage of it, to their credit. I do, however, find it hard to believe that Dallas will play that poorly again. They are a very talented defensive team with excellent goaltending. At this price, I have no choice but to back Dallas to bounce back in a series that I anticipate being a long one.
THE PICK: Dallas ML (-105)
Best Bets on the Track:
Delaware Park Race One: (5) Luna 7-2 ML
Arlington Park Race Five: (5) Givin Up None 2-1 ML
Indiana Grand Race Nine: (8) Son of Batman 3-1 ML
