DVD's Locks of the Day: August 19th

Giphy Images.
It occurred to me the other day how normal it once felt for there to be no sports. I had completely accepted the fact there might be no sports the rest of the year and now we get the luxury of waking up every morning to check the lines like nothing ever even happened. We have to feel blessed we even have sports to bet on at all, let alone a full slate from noon to 1 am of playoff basketball, playoff hockey and baseball. Let's attack.

Nets TT U 106.5

I think the Raptors defense plays much better here in an overall lower scoring game.

Nuggets -4

Seems to me a lot of people always feel compelled to bet on the team who loses the first game especially if it's close. Donovan Mitchell played out of his mind and still couldn't pull off the victory or even cover in OT. Tough beat for Jazz backers but I'm riding the Nuggets here with a healthy Jamal Murray who was huge in crunch time in Game 1.

Celtics -4.5

This one is simple for me. The Celtics have the Sixers number and I trust the Celtics way more down the stretch than I do the Sixers. Celtics are better coached and have a better roster. Celtics all day here.
