DVD's Locks of the Day: September 8th

The easy pick is the Heat here and I get it. Giannis is out and it took Middleton scoring 22 in the 3rd quarter to keep them in the game. But the fact of the matter is they objectively played better with Giannis out of the game. The question is will they play better without him again? I'm not here to throw the G word around, any real gambler knows that's a wild word to be shooting from the hip whenever you love a game in the gambling world but I feel really good about this pick. The Bucks are still a very good defensive team and they got it done down the stretch down 8 late in the 4th quarter and in OT. Gimme the Bucks here. 

Rockets +5

The Rockets have been extremely competitive in this series and still managed to lead for a good chunk of the second half even with Russell Westbrook playing atrociously bad. The Lakers shot almost 57% from the field and 44% from three in Game 2 and I'd be surprised to see them be that efficient again. That 5 number is always a number that's gonna scare me with the late fouling but I'm willing to take the points in this spot.
