Fit To Be Tied: RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls

I'm colder than a penguin's pecker lately so buyer beware. After last night's 'not even close' 0-for-3 debacle, I could read a shoe of tarot cards before I could read tonight's board. So I'm chucking caution into the wind and playing a few Murley Specials tonight then hoping for some OT action. In case you're not familiar, the Murley Special is betting that OT happens (i.e. game will be tied after regulation). Pretty fucking simple. So I am going with "Overtime? YES" in the following games: DET/FLA +327, TBL/NAS +302, CHI/DAL +302, SJS/LAK +270. If I go 1-3, I'll basically break even. But if two or three of these come in, it's a nice night. 0-4 speaks for itself. This is obviously a roll of the dice attempt at a slumpbuster and not based on any useless insight.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Dallas Stars (ML -140, O/U 5.5)

Murls Take: I spoke to my consigliere this morning after we cashed the over in the KHL and I saw the light. We are taking Dallas tonight. Now, I can give you stats, home vs away records, etc. But it's this simple. 

With the gambling retirement announcement from @barstoolbigcat and the Blackhawks also having trouble winning games, this is why they will lose tonight. Is it coincidence or does some blame fall at the feet of Big Cat for the Hawks struggles? We will see.
