Bears On Us: RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls
My Murley Special experiment last night ended up paying off some nice dividends thanks to the late-game heroics of the Sharks. We went 2-2 on OT props and turned a tidy little profit. But we're going back to traditional wagers tonight.
The Bruins haven't played since Friday thanks to the COVID bullshit. They have one shootout loss in their last eight games. The Rangers were shut-out Tuesday after two straight wins. The Rangers top-heavy offense doesn't match up with Bruins balanced attack well at all. The Bs also have the advantage in the pipes regardless of who they start vs. Alexandar Georgiev (though Tuukka Rask is expected to go). So we are taking the Bruins in regulation only -115. And we're also gonna throw something on the Canadiens money line -110.
Good luck to all.
Friend of Spittin' Chiclets, son of The Capital District, and 17-year pro Matt Murley will also be sharing his picks here as well.
Boston Bruins @ New York Rangers (BOS -170, O/U 5.5)
Murls Take: Wow, what a bad beat last night. I felt like I was at a blackjack table holding on a 20 and the dealer goes 5 card 21. But in that case I double the bet and let it run! So we are going to look to the Bruins to get us back on the right path. Marchand is due for a big game and the Rangers are the team to give it to him. Lets hammer RA's favorite team, come on Bs!!
Murls Pick: Bruins 4-3
Murley's Best Bet: Bruins ML -170 (tough odds but take the win to right the ship)
Murley's Last Bet: Dallas three-way --- Loss
