Blues Or Bust: RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls
The St. Louis Blues have lost five games in a row. They had a limp-dick, 20 SOG effort in LA on Wednesday night that looked like they celebrated St. Patty's Day at some beach house the night before. Dusted 59/41 at the dot. Uninspired play. I was jumping on them tonight no matter what. It's time to dust off the drunk Brett Hull GIFs.
On tap is the San Jose Sharks. Binnington was first goalie off this morning and Jones is confirmed. The Blues are 10-3-2 on the road while the Sharks are 3-5-1 at home. I thought -150 seemed almost too low. But I wasn't turning it down. The Blues will need to show some pride after Wednesday's woeful performance. I expect them to come out firing and playing like a contender. So we are on the Blues (large) -150 on the money line. We're also throwing in a smaller play on Blues -1.5 +180.
Good luck to all.
Friend of Spittin' Chiclets, son of The Capital District, and 17-year pro Matt Murley will also be sharing his picks here as well.
[Ed note: we flew Murls a kite before going to print and this was his reply…]

Always scouting. Gotta love it. I'm sure he'll have something on his Twitter feed. Probably the Blues.
