Trysta's Teasers: Your WNBA Picks For The Weekend
Let’s forget about last weekend, shall we? Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear just beats the shit out of you. But that’s in the past.
What did Alfred say to a young Bruce Wayne? Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.
Three games tonight including two with MASSIVE lines.
The first game of the night is Chicago at Dallas (+2.5 and o167). Interesting game. Dallas is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 while Chicago is 6-1 ATS. Both teams are hot. I wavered on this one, but I think Chicago will continue its hot streak. They’re just a better team. And they beat them by 10 the last time they played.
THE PICK: Chicago -2.5
The first game with a wild spread is the Las Vegas (-15 and o168) vs. Los Angeles. That’s such a disrespectful spread, which goes to show you how much better the Aces (and Storm) are than anyone else. The last time these two played, Vegas won by 24 in Los Angeles to boot. I like Vegas to cover even though it makes me queasy to give away that much. But the Sparks are trash and Vegas is the top team in the league right now.
THE PICK: Las Vegas -15
The final game of the slate is Atlanta at Seattle (-15.5 and o167). Seattle visited Atlanta about ten days ago and it was an 11 point win for the Storm. But the Dream are just not good (sorry to Aari McDonald), 2-7 straight up of late. Only thing that gives me pause? Seattle’s been getting so many points at home, they’re 1-6 ATS this year in home games. Ehhhh.
THE PICK: Seattle -15.5
Whenever I see disparities like this it makes me want to consider an Underdog Parlay. Taking the three underdogs on the ML (+700, +750, +116) for a ten spot would pay out $1458.80. Will it happen? No. Would it be wild if it did? Yes. Is it worth a $10 flyer? Maybe. Food for thought.
As always, we’ll be back Saturday and Sunday with updates. Keep letting these ladies make you money.
