Murl’s Lunch Menu of Winners is Best-Served Hot!
These are the types of weeks that EBR is supposed to have. There has been everything from cashing an over in the first 16 minutes to burning the midnight oil for a 4 goal 3rd period to cash the over. This Friday lunch menu has fulfilled any hungry gambler's afternoon cravings for winners going 4-1 and 5-1. The European hockey community had an international break so that had us as hungry as a hippo on a 3 day fast. So without further pause sharpen the knives and let's dig in.
Appetizer: Tatarák: Commonly known as steak tartare, which is minced raw beef topped with a raw egg with a few items on the sides to mix in. The sides in Czech are very important to any dish and are diced onion, salt, pepper, mustard, and ketchup. David Krejci loved Boston but wanted to go play at home for his family and this amazing starter didn't have a factor in his decision.

Soup: Rassolnik: A traditional soup in Russia to cure hangovers, which we all need today after sweeping the Thirsty Thursday Shots bets and dummying all that Pink Whitney. The soup is made up of vegetables, pickles, and veal kidneys that all help to retain water and salt that are vital for the hangover.

Main Course: Spätzle: At my first team meal while playing in Germany, I saw this side and thought alright some mac and cheese!! Well that turned out to be not exactly true but this dish is made by mixing milk, eggs and flour together and the pieces came out in every irregular shape possible. No lie this is not the best dish I have ever eaten but covered with some sauce and you have a great base for a day game or day drinking so obviously I ate this everyday!

Dessert: Carac: Carac is a traditional chocolate-filled tart topped with a chocolate cream and green icing. It is one of the most common Swiss pastries and the one your kid will point for when visiting the bakery after a day on the slopes because of the bright green color. Make sure to always get two since all parents will steal half as well!

So now that we have eaten enough to be rolled out of the restaurant and we pay for the check with Barstool Sportsbook dropping off a bag of our winnings! Now, let us all head home take a quick dirt nap because we have to be up and ready for the NHL slate. The grind continues with 2 games later and EBR needs another boost hit. All gas no Breaks!!
