Forecaster Frank's Picks : Week 13

This week's lesson do not pick against the Dolphins and do not pick the Lions. I went 7-8 over Thanksgiving weekend; my season record is 88-91-1 .492.

Thursday Night

Dal -4.5 (o/u 47.5)

Cowboys 31 Saints 16

The Saints are the walking wounded. They did not win a game in November, as Trevor Siemian struggled at quarterback. Making matters worse, they have been without Alvin Kamara. It is hard to see a turnaround, as the Cowboys come in and win at the Superdome.

Sunday at 1

Atl +11 (o/u 50.5)

Buccaneers 27 Falcons 20

The Buccaneers and Falcons have had their struggles as of late. The Falcons had a nice bounce back with a win over the Jaguars, as the Bucs got a late touchdown to beat the Colts. This spread feels high, Tampa will win the game, but it will be a close game.

Ari -8 (o/u 45.5)

Cardinals 23 Bears 6

The Cardinals are coming off a bye week and are hoping to get the Kyler Murray that helped them get off to a 7-0 start. Injuries have given the Cardinals problems in November, but now they hope to finish strong as the Bears are starting to think about 2022 and beyond.

Cin -3 (o/u 50.5)

Bengals 31 Chargers 20

Both teams are coming off potential season-changing divisional games. The Bengals destroyed the Steelers, while the Chargers stunk it up in Denver. Expect the Bengals to continue their surge, as the Chargers have several questions surrounding the play of Justin Herbert, who is in a sophomore slump.

Det +7 (o/u 46.5)

Lions 24 Vikings 20

The Lions lost to the Vikings earlier in the season on a 54-yard field goal as time expired. For a team that is 0-10-1, they have had their close calls. They are not going winless. This is the week. Lions win.

Ind -9 (o/u 45.5)

Colts 41 Texans 17

The Colts battled the Buccaneers for 60 minutes, losing on a last-minute touchdown. The Colts have been one of the stronger teams and could make a late run at the AFC South. The Texans, meanwhile, could make a run at the first pick if the Lions win a game.

Mia -4 (o/u 40.5)

Dolphins 20 Giants 10

The Dolphins just finished a 4-0 November, turning around a season that looked like a disaster at 1-7. The Giants will be without Daniel Jones for this one. The Dolphins' turnaround has been inspired by their defense and decent play from Tua Tagovailoa. Look for it to continue.

Phi -6.5 (o/u 45)

Eagles 27 Jets 17

Last week the Eagles were buried in the Meadowlands next to Jimmy Hoffa. They return to the scene of the crime and bounce back, facing the New York Paper Airplanes.

Sunday Late Games

LV -2.5 (o/u 49.5)

Raiders 24 Washington 20

Before the season, a fan of the Raiders flipped a coin 17 times to determine what their record would be. The coin has accurately picked their first 11 games. The coin says win this week against Washington; who am I to argue.

Rams -12.5 (o/u 47.5)

Rams 38 Jaguars 10

This is a get-healthy game for the Rams, who have lost their last three games as Matthew Stafford has shown the heart of a Lion (a Detroit Lion). The Jaguars are the perfect foil for a team and a quarterback that is going off the rails.

Bal -4 (o/u 44)

Ravens 31 Steelers 9

Over the last decade, the Steelers and Ravens have had some of the best battles as the games were often decided by a field goal. The Ravens are contenders, while the Steelers are fading away. Ben Roethlisberger is clearly finished, and the rest of the season will be about trying to finish the season strong to retire on a high note.

SF -3.5 (o/u 45.5)

49ers 31 Seahawks 17

The 49ers are surging, while the Seahawks are in the midst of a lost season. Russell Wilson has not played well since returning from a hand injury. Not even the 12th man can help them this week.

Sunday Night

KC -9.5 (o/u 47)

Chiefs 27 Broncos 13

With first place on the line, look for the Chiefs to come out strong on Sunday night, following a bye week. Before the bye, the Chiefs were finding their game; this is when they make a strong push to the finish as they hope to reach a third straight Super Bowl.

Monday Night

Buf -2.5 (o/u 43.5)

Bills 24 Patriots 20

The Patriots are the hottest team in the NFL, with six straight wins to catapult to the top of the AFC. The Bills were in that position at the start of the season before a midseason slump. The winner of this game will have the inside track for the AFC East. This is when the Bills show they are the team to beat.
