GAME OF THE NIGHT - St. Louis Blues @ Colorado Avs (Avs series 3-1)

Murls Breakdown: 

The line from Dumb and Dumber speaks truth to this series.  I truly believed the Blues would force the Avs all the way to squeaky bum time with a game 7.  It is not looking that way through 4 games. The Avs made some adjustments and the big boys are flying.

When the Avs are using speed and playing physical, I am not sure anyone will stay with this team.  The loss of Binnington is significant but Mackinnon and crew are on a mission this year I do not think he would have saved the series. Now the Blues have to go back to altitude and play a team that for sure wants to close it and get some rest.  Kuemper will have to play well and the Avs are going to have to fight off plenty of surges from the Blues. The Blues are a tough and proud team that will make this a game but knowing they have to win might make them take chances they would not normally make.  

I have a ticket on the Blues to lift Lord Stanley but I will say to the EBR that I am not confident in that ticket anymore. Avs close it out and move on to face a team from Alberta.
