There's 2 Kinds Of People In This World: Those Who Believe In The Arizona Diamondbacks And Those Who Are Complete Morons

I know Rico blogged it earlier but I'm coming back to emphasize the strength and heat behind The Hit Parade. I don't even know if I'm allowed to say this to you guys but there's an exclusive bet on our app that's up 16 units on the MLB season. Talk whatever trash you want about my underdog plays but you cannot sleep on The Hit Parade. It's not unrealistic for us to circle 22 units for a successful first season.

If you're just learning about it, play it on the exclusives tab of the app. Once you get a taste there's no going back to watching MLB on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A dynamic prop with objective, tangible value. This is why we get up in the morning and go to work. A perfect intersection of all emerging content interests. The only true losers are the ignorant.

That said, let's talk WINNERS

Rico:

DOG = Diamondbacks +145

BEST = Cardinals o4.5 -106

The Dbacks are the hottest team in MLB that nobody wants to talk about. Merrill Kelly vs. Joe Musgrove in what should be a well pitched game. The Padres are battling to reach their potential but the Baby Backs are fluid and loose. Major value on the Dbacks +140 while the Cardinals HAVE to bounce back against the red hot Nationals. Is that a guaranteed win? Absolutely not so we're looking at the Cardinals team total for more control over the bounce back. Not saying everyone on the Cardinals shows up tonight, but the 1-9 should be solid enough to put down the Nats.

Big Ev:

DOG = Rockies +170

BEST = Mariners -155

The Rockies are much better at home than on the road. Keep that in mind any time you see the Rockies as a big dog. First thought should be home or road. After that, you get a sense the total of 11 is a little high for a Brandon Woodruff start. Is the Rockies lineup that good or is Colorado that hard to pitch in for the big righty? I'm not 100% positive but I do agree with Ev the value leans to the Rockies if they're putting that kind of total on the table. Meanwhile in Seattle, Logan Gilbert is throwing it well. Even though the Sox are playing much better, the Mariners on West Coast time zone after a 1-run loss is a great spot to bounce back. A little pricey but the Mariners are playing a predictable style right now.

Carl

DOG = Diamondbacks +145

BEST = Blue Jays -108

Rico and I are locked in on the Dbacks so no need to be repetitive. After that I like the Blue Jays as a red hot pick 'em against the Orioles. Even though Mitch White has struggled and even though the Orioles are in Must Win mode at 4.5 back. I don't care. Those would be compelling factors if the Blue Jays were anything less than their best. This is the Blue Jays team people were expecting and we're catching them in the midst of a late season surge. Comparatively, it's time to wonder how much the Orioles have left after giving quite literally everything they have through the first 135 games. Is there a fade to be had? Let's start tonight and maybe find more value over the week.
