HEADLINES

MLB

Rob Trites has a fascinating feature on which pitchers have made bettors the most and lost the most money this year. The names on the top of winners list are not the usualt names you would think of. Full read on the feature is here.

OLYMPICS

The 2016 Rio Summer Olympics are full of compelling storylines and controversies, but they’re also full of hundreds of betting options, and we’ve got you covered.

The list is literally endless. Every event is listed. One prop jumped out to me specifically and it’s :

With Ricky Rubio and the Gasol Brothers, I’m actually impressed in only laying -135 in a rather weak group. Like this prop a lot.

For the full list of props, here they are via props guru Joe Osborne.

UFC 201

UFC 201 means punches will be thrown, and the action gets going Saturday.  Big card headlined by Lawlor and Woodley.

Justin Hartling breaks down the card along with all the odds you need. Dig in right here.

PICKS

Chicago White Sox -127

The White Sox have been the center of controversy this week, however have gone 4-2 in their last six since the infamous scissors game as they attempt to make a run for a playoff spot.

I always love teams who take care of business by beating bad teams, and you cannot argue the Sox have done that this year. Going 8-1 vs the lowly Twins. Jose Quintana takes the hill Friday night, and a standout stat to me is  his 116 K’s vs 32 BB’s. In his three starts vs The Twins this year he’s struck out 18 batters. Opposite Quintana is Ricky Nolasco for Minnesota. Who’s given up 5 ER and 7 ER in his two starts versus Chicago.

We’ve done real well fading Minnesota, especially at home when there’s a discount on the juice,  and I’m taking another stab at it tonight.

White Sox pull away 5-2.

-Shoutout to Hank. Loyal when the rest of his crew isn’t.  Have a great weekend.
