College Football Advice
Lotta guys asking for a tip on tonight’s Cal -19.5-Hawaii game in Australia. Not my cup of tea as far as a game I would target. If you’ve read me in the past you know I love smaller conferences and to pick my spots in big conferences. However, since so many guys are asking. I think the lean here is UNDER 64.5.
Cal loses #1 pick Jared Goff, and their top NINE … yes NINE returning WR’s. The rushing attack was mediocre at best last year with Khalfani Muhammed’s subpar 606 yards leading the way. The return 4 on O, and 5 on D and that D was bad last year.
Hawaii is led by the anchor RB Paul Harris (1166 yards last year), but has a new starting QB Ikaika Woosley (just 149 attempts last year) and a new head coach. I sense a conservative approach by the Rainbow Warriors and I don’t think Cal lights it up with so many new faces. Also the games in Australia …expect guys routines to be out of wack early. I am leaning under on this one for the guys who “need some action” to open the season.
